I have been a busy bee updating my websight and connecting with all of you and previous friends. I've started reading the Refuse to Choose book by Barbara Sher to learn more about my idea of too many choices and how to work with it instead of having it work against me.
Well all, the blog idea is new to me also, so here is my first attempt. I have had several micromovements!!! Cleaning out my studio room was the goal of one of my wheels, and the first movement was to just go up there. Well, now I have spent several 5+minutes each day, emptying two boxes and beginning to arrange a cabinet. Now, I have several black garbage bags that I am beginning to fill. I am so excited to have started on this part of my creative dream. Thanks to SARK and the micromovements!!! I will keep you updated. Joy and a creative spirit to you all, Spirited Celeste
Good Morning! Triumphant Cathy here. Thank you a million times over for doing this wonderful blog. I'm excited to see the links that we learned about during our Creative Dreamers workshop! I'm new the blog thing, but I will try to check this each time I check my Facebook.
I was a volunteer at the NC Literary Festival where I met a pillar of talent, R.L. Stein, the author of the children's series Goosebumps. I also went to a lecture to listen to John Grisham and Kathy Reichs.
I need to pull out my micromovement wheel and get busy - I've dropped the ball and it appears to have rolled underneath the car which is moving all the time.
I truly hope everyone is doing well. I live in Chapel Hill so if anyone wants to go out for a bite to eat, let me know. I'd love it! Home - 240-5043 - give me a buzz!
